Such an event would not be possible in this form without the support of the sponsors and partners of the ol-rhein-main.de project, who have provided much financial and material support. We warmly welcome this, and – also on behalf of all athletes – would like to express our thanks.

The event is generously supported by the science and technology company Merck and the bank Sparkasse Darmstadt. Sponsors from private companies provide in particular material donations for the prize-givings or give favourable rates on relevant goods or services. In addition, the project receives support and funding from sports associations, for example for public relations; more information to sponsoring can be found on the respective page of the ol-rhein-main.de website.

Special thanks also go to Darmstadt, the city of science, which made it possible for us to hold the event in the first place and which, under the patronage of Mayor Rafael Reißer, emphasized the importance of the event.

In this context, the Sportamt Darmstadt in particular should be mentioned for its tireless commitment. In addition, we would like to thank the TU Darmstadt for providing the Campus Stadtmitte.

Last but not least, a very special thanks belongs to our partner association, the Darmstadt TSG 1846, which has become a central element for the orienteering weekend.
