Saturday, 24 AUGUST 2019 - DPT double sprint at RheinMainCityRace
Due to the differing categories between DPT and CRET, the RheinMainCityRace couldn't count towards the German Park Tour, so on Saturday we are offering - almost as a side event - a double sprint with park tour ranking points.
The race will take place in Darmstadt-Arheilgen, a small district north of the city, with a distinct town-like feeling. The old town centre is well preserved and in the surroundings numerous detached houses and terraces have been built. To the south there are also larger labyrinthine housing complexes. Finally to the east there are bordering open fields and paddocks.
Overall the terrain is highly varied, expectant of interesting and exciting course setting. The age classes are combined according to the German Park Tour categories to allow ranking points to be assigned. Each run has an expected winning time of around 15 minutes.
The double sprint is part of the Deutsche Park Tour. In addition, the race is a Rhein-Main-Rang-Liste ranking event as well.
